fire

There's something incredibly nostalgic about gathering around a crackling bonfire while camping. The warmth of the flames on a cool evening, the smell of wood smoke in the air, and the soothing sound of the fire popping and crackling—it all combines to create an atmosphere that's both calming and timeless. Bonfires have a way of slowing down time, allowing you to disconnect from the noise of everyday life and just be present in the moment.

water

Nestled in a cozy bed in your cabin, you wake up to the serene beauty of the Big Piney River. After a light breakfast, you dive into the cool, clear water for a swim, letting the current carry you downstream. Kayaking and fishing down the river, you explore its winding curves, surrounded by lush trees and smooth rocks.

Later, you relax on a sandy riverbar for a picnic —fresh fruit, cheese, and cool drinks as the river gently flows by. Then, it’s time to grab a tube and drift downriver to the rope swing, laughing as the current pulls you past towering bluffs and quiet forests.

As the day fades, you settle by the campfire, roasting marshmallows under a sky full of stars , feeling completely at peace in the heart of nature.

Story

Get to Know Us

A young couple had many dreams for their family: to enjoy the beauty of nature more, to buy a camper and travel with their kids, and to have a place to get away from the chaos of life and just relax.

Piney Bend was the perfect place for all these dreams and after buying it, it was soon realized this place was just too special to keep all to them selves.

We are so happy to be able to share this amazing place with others that have the same dreams and want to just slow down and enjoy life a little more.

Testimonials

Lacey was such a gracious host! The cabin was so cute and had every little detail thought out. The river is gorgeous and the wildlife was plentiful. It was so relaxing that we extended our trip. We hope to come back this summer!

Me and my wife fell in love with the cabin immediately! It was such a magical set up with the lights all around us, the view of the river, the amenities around us. Everything we could have needed was there for us. Good size town near by with all the quirks to be had there too. 11/10 will be coming back. By the way we were there in the dead of winter and it was still absolutely gorgeous
